Association “Chance” took part in an international project held in the city of Dalaman, Republic of Turkey

In the period 12–19 September, volunteers from the social services of the Association “Chance” took part in an international project BG01-KA122-ADU-000260874, held in the city of Dalaman, Republic of Turkey.
The project “Europe for all, Europe for inclusion”, funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, led by Ms. Lidia Pankova, focused on a number of current topics related to people with disabilities. Within the framework of the activities, good practices and expert knowledge were shared in the following areas:
integration of people with disabilities in society;
disabilities and human rights – European practices, a rights-based approach, and raising public awareness;
development of empathy and sensitivity by creating a stop-motion animation “Empathetic communication – beautiful feelings”;
challenges facing people with disabilities in social life and solution-oriented approaches;
equality in education and employment, supported by prepared exemplary projects.
We believe that the training was extremely beneficial for both parties. During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the Center for Rehabilitation and Social Assistance in the city of Dalaman.
The contacts and friendships established will serve as a solid foundation for future initiatives and new ideas aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
